The Republic of Vanuatu, or Vanuatu for short, is located in the western part of the South Pacific Ocean, in the Melanesian Islands, 1,900 kilometers east of Brisbane, 800 kilometers west of Fiji, 230 kilometers north of New Caledonia, and 170 kilometers south of Solomon, with its capital at Port Vila.

瓦努阿图共和国（英语：The Republic of Vanuatu），简称瓦努阿图，位于南太平洋西部，属美拉尼西亚群岛，地处澳大利亚布里斯班以东1900公里，斐济以西800公里，新喀里多尼亚以北230公里，所罗门以南170公里，首都维拉港。

The Republic of Vanuatu is economically backward and graduated from the UN list of least developed countries on December 4, 2020. Agriculture and tourism are the mainstays of Vanuatu's economy. Services and construction, mainly tourism, are the main drivers of the economy. 2021 GDP: US$999 million, GDP per capita: US$3,299, economic growth rate: 1.2%.

In June 2022, the Republic of Vanuatu had a total population of about 320,000. 98% of them are Vanuatu, a Melanesian race, while the rest are French, British, Chinese, Vietnamese, Polynesian immigrants and other Pacific Islanders. 2/3 of the population is concentrated in the four islands of Efate, Santo, Malekula and Tana. The official languages are English, French, and Bislama, and Bislama is the common language, with more than 100 dialects spoken throughout the country. 84% of the population is Christian.

Vanuatu is a great place to visit. Its north island, Santo, has a place called Xiang Bin Beach, with white sand like silver and blue waves, a good place for swimming, diving, camping, fishing and many other recreations. And the south island of Tana, an active volcano of magnificent wonders, more do not know how many tourists attracted. In central Vanuatu, there is the island of Marukula, which has kept the clan tradition. This is a Naka thatched house, also known as the "traditional man house".
